Pocket Pals.
A Big Idea, Started by a Tiny Girl.

My daughter Emily was born too soon. A micro-preemie, born at 25 weeks, she started life with many challenges. As she grew, new situations and people would make her very anxious. It was an ongoing problem that made many things more difficult for her. 

Bob: An Unexpected Solution

Emily has always been creative. One day, when she was 8, she came up with a solution we never expected. With scraps of fabric, scissors, glue and thread, she made Bob.

Bob changed everything!

Bob fit in her pocket, was easy to carry around and made Emily feel better when things were too new or seemed too hard.

She made him a pocket.  So, I’d put a “love you” or “let your braveness beat your worries” note in that pocket for her to find when she was at school.  She could squeeze Bob and rub him when she was feeling anxious.

Bob went everywhere with Emily, to school, to restaurants, to friends' houses. Now you can find Bob in our logo! 

The Pocket Pals Were Born

Bob was quickly joined by more friends. Each is now designed to reassure and empower your child with an inspiring message and a handy pocket for your special note or memento:

It's Emily's hope that these Pocket Pals will comfort and empower your child to do more things and be braver than they thought they could, just as they have for her.
